FAQ

DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER?

Membership is optional. We are happy to have anyone attend our meetings and outings. It is a great way for you to see how much you like them.

WHERE DOES THE MEMBERSHIP MONEY GO?

Membership is really a way for the club to pay for its basic expenses. The largest expenses are for the free meals at the outings. We also have to pay for things such as the Website, Meetup, Club Gift, equipment for meetings, etc. North Carolina likes to get their cut as well.

WHERE ARE EVENTS HELD?

Our meetings are held at the Dave & Buster’s in Cary.  If you are not able to attend in person we have a teams link available so you meet virtually.   Our outings are generally at Mystery Lake Scuba Park or Fantasy Lake Adventure Park. Check the announcement for the time and location.

"Even if you never have the chance to see or touch the ocean, the ocean touches you with every breath you take, every drop of water you drink, every bite you consume. Everyone, everywhere is inextricably connected to and utterly dependent upon the existence of the sea."

" There's nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean itself, except that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you've been missing the whole point of the ocean."
