DOWN UNDER DIVERS CLUB
Down Under Divers Club (DUDC) promotes diver social, educational and charitable events. DUDC is the largest and longest running independent scuba club in the United States. DUDC supports all local dive shops without competing with them. Membership is encouraged but not required. All new Open Water divers have a free one year membership!
Annual Polar Plunge
The old saying goes, that whatever you do the first day of the year, you will do all year. We don’t want to chance it, so we gather annually for the DUDC Polar Plunge at Mystery Lake Scuba Park. Members and friends bring their “best” chili and fixins so we can warm up after the “Plunge”. Spectators are welcome too!
CLUB ACTIVITIES
Monthly dinner meetings are a great way to socialize with each other on a regular basis. Each meeting features a great guest speaker talking about some aspect of diving, travel, safety or our water environment. (You can also join the meeting via Teams)
Quarry outings are held monthly during the Summer. A great meal is included and buddies can be matched together.
Workshops are held periodically and are open to club members only. Learn about underwater photography, Fish ID or other topics of interest.
December is time for our Holiday Banquet. It is a chance for us to dress up for a change and bring our partners.
